Old friends, new adventures

My Calgary visit is going super well so far.

This morning I got up nice and early and met up with Steve Rawles, singer and guitarist in This Is A Standoff.

We enjoyed a pretty decent cup of coffee, here.

I recently found out Steve was starting to play and record some solo stuff.

He's going to be rolling through the Island, with some dates in Nanaimo coming up in June.

I'll definitely keep you posted. Steve is a great muscian and a great dude.

We'll try and hook up some giveaways on my radio show, Mixtape.

Tomorrow we'll meet up with our friends Rob and Melissa for some dinner and drinks!

Alberta Bound

It happens every time before I travel to Calgary.

I throw on a little Paul Brandt.

I don't even really like country music, but there's something about that song.

Not sure about "this piece of heaven"...while I'm there, it's going to be in the -20's.

Didn't the Eagles have a song about Hell freezing over?

On the upside, I found my winter gear buried in an unused suitcase.

Stoked to see some family and friends, and hopefully tip a few at my favourite bar on 17th Ave.

Also looking forward to playing the cool Uncle Matty roll to my brother-in-law's son.

Off we go!

Update

It's been a while since I've posted anything...oops.

It's been a super busy couple of months.

I've signed a representation agreement with Vox Talent, Inc.

They're a voice talent agency with offices in Toronto and Vancouver.

Hopefully I'll see a spike in the amount of voice work I'm doing!

My wedding is quickly approaching as well, and there's planning galore.

Wish me luck.

Tomorrow I go to check out the Snowed In Comedy Tour at the Port Theatre.

Out.
